Hi, we’re Richard and Cameron, the father and son team behind Smokeless Sweeps. We’re both country boys through and through, with our family history being well rooted in the beautiful landscapes of Hampshire for generations. For Cameron, much of his youth centred around being a Young Farmer, so being part of the agricultural, and village community is natural to us. Open fires, wood-burning stoves, and Agas have been part of our everyday lives for as long as we can remember—there’s nothing better than warming up by the fire after a long walk. So deciding to work together, and re-training to become chimney sweeps felt like a natural path for us.

Even though chimney sweeping isn’t strictly regulated, we’ve both worked hard to get fully trained and certified through The Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps. We take real pride in our work and put precision and safety at the forefront of everything we do. Learning from some of the best in the business, including Richard’s mentor (a close family friend), we’re always fine-tuning our skills to make sure we offer the best service possible.

When we’re not up on rooftops or cleaning chimneys, you’ll find us outdoors, walking the countryside in our trusty wellies, clay shooting, or enjoying a pint at the local pub. Richard also teaches yoga classes in the community, so keeping a good balance—both on the mat and in life—is important to us.
